Melton drivers are offered industry-leading pay, starting at 52 CPM with rates reaching up to 65 CPM depending on prior experience and tenure. Industry-Leading Pay for Truck Drivers
Melton Truck Lines offers flexible home time for OTR drivers based on location, earning one day of bankable home time for every 7 days spent on the road. Drivers can also stop by home if within 75 miles without using home time, as long as the load is delivered on time. Melton guarantees drivers will be home on Christmas Day, and home time can be taken anywhere, with a few exceptions. Drivers can also enroll in our Road Warrior program, which allows you to choose from $200 or an extra day of hometime for every three weeks on the road.

Melton Truck Lines offers a pet and family rider policy to make the driving experience more enjoyable with pets or passengers along for the ride. Drivers can have one pet on board, either a dog under 90 pounds or a cat with a Pet Pass. The family rider policy allows passengers 18 and older year-round, and children over 10 during summer. No matter who you bring along, we want to help make the driving experience as enjoyable as possible.

Melton Truck Lines operates a modern fleet of flatbed trucks, with an average tractor age of just 1.7 years, reducing downtime for repairs and maximizing road time. Each driver is assigned their own truck, eliminating slip seating, and benefiting from 24/7 roadside assistance and operational support. Melton’s trucks feature 72-76 inch mid-roof walk-in sleepers, double bunks, refrigerators, upgraded interiors, automatic transmissions, and powerful inverters.
